Azerbaijan Cultural Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization rooted in the Azerbaijani and broader Turkic-speaking communities of Massachusetts.
Since 2021, ACC has served as a gathering place for cultural exchange, educational activities, and community engagement, bringing together families and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Through cultural programs, community events, and educational initiatives, we seek to strengthen connections, preserve heritage, and create opportunities for meaningful participation in community life.

ACC's mission is to strengthen community through culture, education, and meaningful human connection.
Rooted in Azerbaijani heritage and open to all communities, we create opportunities for people to learn from one another, celebrate cultural traditions, and build lasting relationships across generations.
We believe strong communities are built through participation, mutual understanding, and shared experiences that bring people together.
As our organization continues to grow, we are exploring new ways to expand educational opportunities and support families through community-centered initiatives.
Our story
Bringing the Community Together
Azerbaijan Cultural Center was founded in 2021 as a community-driven initiative created to bring together the Azerbaijani community in Massachusetts.
While the community had existed for many years, there was no dedicated space where families and community members could regularly gather, celebrate traditions, and build lasting connections.

Building a Place to Call Home
What began through volunteer effort and community enthusiasm gradually grew into a cultural and community center with its own dedicated space and facilities.
Today, ACC provides a welcoming environment where families, friends, and visitors can gather, learn, celebrate, and stay connected to their cultural roots.
Growing Beyond One Community
Today, ACC continues to serve as a gathering place for the Azerbaijani community while building connections with broader Turkic-speaking communities and neighbors from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Through cultural programs, educational activities, and community partnerships, we encourage participation, dialogue, and shared experiences that bring people together across communities.
Looking Toward the Future
As the organization continues to grow, ACC is exploring new family-centered educational initiatives and community-based programs that respond to emerging needs within immigrant communities.
Building on its cultural foundation and community relationships, ACC hopes to expand opportunities for learning, family engagement, and community participation while remaining rooted in its mission of connection and cultural understanding.

Vugar Khudiyev
President
Founder and President of ACC, Vugar has helped guide the organization from a volunteer-driven initiative into a dedicated community center serving Azerbaijani and broader Turkic-speaking families in Greater Boston. He remains focused on strengthening community connections and supporting the organization's long-term growth.
Ruslan Badalov
Clerk
Ruslan supports ACC's organizational operations, digital initiatives, and community programs. He contributes to project development, communications, and efforts that help strengthen engagement across the community.

International
Relations Liaison
Pharmaceutical scientist supporting ACC’s grant development, organizational documentation, and partnerships with community organizations, foundations, and public institutions.
Community & Cultural Partners
ACC collaborates with community leaders and partner organizations across Greater Boston to strengthen cultural exchange, foster community engagement, and build connections among Azerbaijani, Central Asian, and broader immigrant communities.
Zhannat Zhapparov
Kazakh Community Liaison
Founder of the Turkistan Center and Central Asian Student Association. Community leader and educator dedicated to STEM education, cultural engagement, and strengthening connections within the Kazakh and broader Central Asian community.
Zhibek Orozbekova
Kyrgyz Community Liaison
Community leader and advocate within the Kyrgyz community. Through her professional and volunteer work, Zhibek supports cultural preservation, family engagement, and stronger connections among Kyrgyz families in Greater Boston.
Zhannat Zhapparov
Uyghur Community Liaison
Founding member of the Boston Uyghur Association and an advocate for cultural preservation and community engagement. Munawwar supports efforts that strengthen connections among Uyghur, Turkic, and broader communities through cultural exchange and dialogue.
Nilufar Qahorova
Uzbek Community Liaison
Founder of Turan Association and a nonprofit leader dedicated to cultural exchange, education, and community development. Nilufar works to strengthen connections within the Uzbek community while supporting broader cross-cultural collaboration.
